The Kaleidoscope Blanket CAL – Part 03

Welcome to part 03 of the Kaleidoscope CAL!

Part 03 - triangle 2b copy

Triangle 2B is the same as Triangle 2A, but in different colours. So no new pattern or stitches to get the hang of this week, but it’s a good way to consolidate any new skills you might have picked up!

Note: The pictures and pattern in this part are identical to part 02. If you’re printing the pattern out as you go, you only need to print off the first page, which has the colour references you’ll need.

The pdf download for this part includes details of the colours and stitches you’ll be using for this section, as well as my little tutorial on how to change colours.

You can download part 03 from Ravelry here.

It’s available in English (US and UK terms), Dutch, French, German and Persian. Please note that there is no new chart this week; you can use the chart from part 02. The video tutorials are available here on Trisha McKibbon’s Youtube channel.

Don’t forget that the best and fastest place to get help and advice with the CAL is the Facebook group, which you can find here.

Part 04 will be released in two weeks’ time, on the 14th of February.

Please be aware that although this pattern has been thoroughly tested, we are only human, and it’s possible we’ve missed something.

Therefore, any errata that come to light will be listed below, with the date of discovery, and the pattern document will be corrected as necessary.

01 February – the ‘stitches used’ in the UK terms were incorrect. A correct version has now been uploaded to Ravelry.

  1. When the patterns on Ravelry that am following are updated, I get an email stating the pattern has been updated. I go to Ravelry and hit update on that pattern and then I can see all the parts that have been placed out there. This includes the Kaleidoscope blanket. I got an email from you but not Ravelry. I went to Ravelry and there was no update for me to click today. All I see are parts 01 and 02 in various languages. Can you please check to make sure Ravelry knows you have updated the pattern with 03? Thank you!

    1. Part 03 is definitely there. Use the link in the blog post above to go to the pattern page, click ‘free download’, and you’ll see part 03 is there in US and UK terms, as well as multiple languages.
