My Patterns

Here is a list of all my pattern designs to date, with information and links to the relevant Ravelry pattern page. (Note: if you’re struggling with new!Ravelry and would like a direct download, just use my ‘contact me’ form to send me a request, and I’ll be happy to help).

All my patterns are available for free. However, if you would like, please feel free to make a donation to an ME charity (such as ME Research UK) instead.

Demelza
My first blanket design, inspired by the character ‘Demelza’ from Winston Graham’s novels and the 2015 television adaptation. Made using ten different colours of Stylecraft Special DK yarn. Available in US terms, UK terms, and in Dutch and Spanish.

Also available as video tutorials in Arabic, thanks to Banan Felimban.

Ross Poldark
My second blanket design, inspired by the character ‘Ross Poldark’ from the Winston Graham novels and the 2015 television adaptation. Made using ten different colours of Stylecraft Special DK yarn, this blanket was created as a companion to the Demelza blanket and shares the same size and layout. Available in US terms, UK terms (via Stylecraft) and in Dutch.

Eve’s Sunflowers

My third blanket design, inspired by the wonderful and diverse varieties of sunflowers, to create a splash of sunshine in any room. Made using ten different colours of Scheepjes Cotton 8 yarn, as well as two shades of Scheepjes Sunkissed.

The Four Seasons
A set of four, seasonally-themed, wall hanging decorations. Made using eighteen different colours of Stylecraft Classique DK, and four different sizes of embroidery hoops. Available in US terms only.

Post Stitch Ripple Blanket

Designed for the 2017 Stylecraft Blog Tour, this 30×31″ blanket uses six shades of Stylecraft Batik and one of Batik Elements to create a beautifully textured ripple blanket. Available in US terms only.

The Secret Garden

Inspired by Frances Hodgson Burnett’s ‘The Secret Garden’, this bedspread uses thirteen colours of Stylecraft Special DK.

Available in US and UK terms.

Spin Me Around

A swirling and spinning circular blanket, very quick to work up, a simple repeating pattern that increases as you go. You can make it to any size, from a cushion cover right up to a big bedspread: just keep following the repeating pattern. Using Stylecraft Batik Swirl. Available in US terms and as a chart.

Field of Flowers

Designed to show off the beautiful range of colours in Stylecraft Batik DK, this is a single repeating motif with a slightly frilly border.

Sunset Cushions

Three complementary 16″ cushion covers, in Stylecraft Special DK, inspired by the colours of a sunset.

Harlequin Bag

Designed for the 2018 Stylecraft Blog Tour, this large project bag uses five colours of Stylecraft Bellissima.

Jam Jar Candle Cosies

A collection of cosies to fit round jam jars of 190ml (8.5cm high with 6.5cm diameter). Perfect for a votive candle, these cosies cast really interesting shadows with a lighted candle inside.

I designed these using Stylecraft Bellissima and Bambino, but this is a great stash-busting project. Use whatever DK yarn you want, with a suitable hook to match gauge.

Christmas Wreath

A joyfully busy Christmas wreath, with holly leaves, berries, Christmas roses and stars. Created using Stylecraft Special DK, this is a great stashbust project, so you can use whatever DK yarn you want, with a suitable hook.

Flying Diamonds Baby Blanket

A simple but elegant repeating pattern, worked from the centre out. Designed as a baby blanket of 30″/76cm square, the pattern repeat means you can keep going until the blanket is as large as you want it. Using Stylecraft Batik Swirl. Available in US terms and as a chart.

Round Ripple Bunny Lovey

A little bunny lovey, perfect for a baby. Small enough to carry around but big enough to be comforting. Using Stylecraft Wondersoft DK Prints and Stylecraft Bambino, but any DK yarn will work well.

Candyfloss Daydreams

Composed of four different sizes of square that all fit together a little like a jigsaw puzzle to create a square blanket that’s big enough for a lap blanket, or the perfect size for a child. The border is light and ruffly, which is a lovely contrast to the more solid squares. Using Stylecraft Special DK.

Kaleidoscope all colourways 02

The Kaleidoscope Blanket

The Kaleidoscope blanket is a beautiful geometric design, inspired by a quilt pattern and created using triangles, squares and octagons.

It’s an ambitious project, but the end product is a beautiful, unique heirloom blanket that’s full of rich texture and colour. It measures 63”/157cm across at the widest point, perfect for the top of a double bed.

Available in US and UK terms, in video and chart formats, and in Dutch, German, French and Persian.

Also available in Turkish as video tutorials by Songül Tekin.


The Three Witches

Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble! These three witches are perfect for Halloween. Worked amigurumi style, they are approximately 12 inches/30 centimetres tall and are very customisable.

This pattern is written in US terms.

You will need small quantities of DK yarn in various colours for these witches – it’s a perfect stash-bust, so use what you have.


Bees’n’Bugs’n’Butterflies Wreath

A beautifully lush wreath for nature-lovers, this project works up quickly and is great for using up bits and pieces of stash yarn.

The pattern is written in US terms.

You will need small quantities of DK yarn in various colours for this wreath.


Paja’s Party

This is a three-in one pattern – it starts off as a coaster that can either grow into a place mat, or into a gorgeous beaded jug cover. Perfect for an afternoon tea in the garden! Designed using Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo+Cotton, a ball of each of the four colours makes four coasters, four placemats, and a jug cover.

Under The Sea
A gorgeous sea-inspired crochet blanket, available in three official colourways – one in Stylecraft Special DK, one in Stylecraft Bambino+Bellissima, and one in Stylecraft Batik.

Presented by Stylecraft as a CAL in 2020, all pattern documents are available in US and UK terms.

Nativity Set

An excellent stash-buster project, this pattern includes Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus in a manger, three kings, shepherds, sheep, a donkey and a star.

You will need small quantities of DK yarn in various colours, and you can include metallic yarns too, for extra sparkle.

Diamond Nights Christmas Stocking

A one-ball Christmas stocking with a diamond pattern created by front post stitches, using Stylecraft Wonderland Chunky.
