Welcome to the final part of the CAL!

Finally we’ve reached the border, which is very simple but works effectively to set off all that lovely cable detail in the blanket itself. It shouldn’t take you too long to do – you’ll find each side zips along speedily. Just keep an eye on your corners, because you won’t always be working into the obvious stitch.
You’ll be using colours B, C, D and A if you’re using the official colour packs – that’s Marmalade, Brose, Lichen and Campbell (Highland Heathers) for Moorland Meander, Shale, Cairn, Grist and Heather (Highland Heathers) for Highland Hike, and Bottle, Stone, Gingerbread and Claret (Special DK) for Woodland Wander
The pattern is available now on Ravelry. Just to remind you, it’s available in US terms only but with lots of pictures and diagrams to help you out.
Don’t forget to let me see your finished blankets!

Thank you, Catherine, for this wonderful set of patterns. I’ve long wanted to master cables and these are very manageble. Hope everything is going well for you and your lttle one. They are bundles of joy and exhaustion, all rolled up in one. Best thing I ever did though, despite the lack of sleep and all the worry. All grown up and still my baby.
