Welcome to part 12 of the Kaleidoscope CAL!
At last we come to join all the different shapes into one blanket! Once again, this section may not take you the whole fortnight. This is deliberate, to make sure everybody’s had plenty of time to finish off all of the triangles before we finally get to the border.
You can do this using just nine joins, if you follow the diagram for the direction of joining. This diagram also shows you the full layout, with all the triangles labeled. Pay very close attention to this diagram, to make sure you’re joining the correct segments together!
The pdf download for this part includes details of the colours and stitches you’ll be using for this section.
You can download part 12 from Ravelry here.
It’s available in English (US and UK terms), Dutch, German, French and Persian (Arabic to follow). The video tutorials are available here on Trisha McKibbon’s Youtube channel.
Don’t forget that the best and fastest place to get help and advice with the CAL is the Facebook group, which you can find here.
Part 13 – the final part! – will be released in two weeks’ time, on the 19th of June.
Enjoy!
Please be aware that although this pattern has been thoroughly tested, we are only human, and it’s possible we’ve missed something.
Therefore, any errata that come to light will be listed below, with the date of discovery, and the pattern documents will be corrected as necessary.
