Catherine's Crochet Corner 
I would love to do The Secret Garden but I’m horrible at matching colors. With over 100 colors of yarn I’m overwhelmed. Any suggestions? I’ve crocheted for years and now learning knit. But this pattern design looks interesting. Could some motifs b reduced for smaller blanket?

I think the easiest way of making it smaller would be to skip some of the outer squares. I don’t think you could make the motifs smaller, although of course if you used a lighter weight yarn and a smaller hook, that would also work (eg, 4ply yarn).
