The Winding Path CAL – Part 02

Welcome to part 02! I hope everyone has been getting along alright with part 01, and that you’re all feeling like cables are an absolute doddle – but this part means getting a little more adventurous.

This rectangle introduces a six-stitch cable, but don’t worry, it’s actually not any more complicated than the square – it’s using the same techniques, just over six stitches rather than four.

You may find stitch markers particularly helpful at first if you’re not confident you can spot which stitches are which.

You’ll be using colour B, if you’re using the official colour packs – that’s Marmalade (Highland Heathers) for Moorland Meander, Shale (Highland Heathers) for Highland Hike, and Bottle (Special DK) for Woodland Wander.

The pattern is available now on Ravelry. To remind you, it’s available in US terms only, but with plenty of pictures and a stitch diagram to help you out.

Don’t forget that the best place to ask for help is the Facebook group, and I love seeing all your WIPs, so even if you don’t need help, please do come and join us and post your pics.

Enjoy!
